Common Questions

FAQ About Custom Cabinetry

How much does custom cabinetry cost in New Jersey?

Custom cabinetry pricing varies by project size, materials, and complexity. Kitchen cabinetry typically ranges from $15,000–$50,000+ depending on the size and finish. Closet systems start around $3,000. We provide free, detailed quotes so you know exactly what you're getting before committing. Custom always costs more than stock cabinets, but the quality, fit, and durability last decades — not years.

How long does a custom kitchen cabinet project take?

A typical kitchen project takes 8–12 weeks from signed contract to final installation. This includes 1–2 weeks for design finalization, 5–7 weeks of shop fabrication, and 1–2 weeks for installation. Larger or more complex projects may take longer. We give you a realistic timeline upfront and keep you updated throughout.

Do you offer free consultations?

Yes — all consultations are free. We visit your home, measure the space, discuss your goals and budget, and walk you through the options. There's no pressure and no commitment at the consultation stage. Most clients appreciate seeing the possibilities before deciding.

What wood species do you work with?

We work with all major domestic hardwoods: white oak, red oak, maple, cherry, walnut, hickory, and poplar. We also source reclaimed and live-edge slabs for furniture and accent pieces. For painted cabinets, we typically use maple or poplar for their smooth, paint-ready surfaces. We'll recommend the best material for your project and budget.
